TRANSFORM THE WAY YOU MOVE

Why Aerial Yoga?
01
Novelty and Fun
Aerial yoga offers a unique and enjoyable experience compared to traditional yoga practices. The novelty of performing poses while suspended adds an element of fun and adventure, which can be motivating and invigorating, encouraging regular participation and consistent practice.
03
Enhanced Physical Flexibility
Aerial yoga naturally improves your flexibility because the practice involves stretching in new ways and using gravity to deepen stretches. This can lead to better mobility and less stiffness in daily life.
02
Stress Relief and Mental Clarity
Aerial yoga is not only a physical practice but also a mental one. The unique experience of being suspended allows practitioners to focus more deeply on their breath and mindfulness, leading to reduced stress levels and improved mental clarity.
04
Increased Core Strength
Engaging in aerial yoga regularly helps to strengthen the core muscles. The instability of the hammock forces the body to engage multiple muscle groups, particularly the core, to maintain balance and posture during the exercises.

Jackie Switzer
After nearly a decade of teaching and practicing yoga, I was feeling called to elevate my practice. I tried aerial yoga and instantly found it an amazing addition to my traditional mat based practice. I decided to get certified to teach, and it expanded from there.
I love teaching and practicing aerial yoga because it deepens my poses. I love hanging upside down and having fun with the silk. I love teaching to new people and watching their excitement when they get to stand up or go upside down when they thought they wouldn't. I've taught 3 year olds to 80 year olds and the same thing is present in both of their faces- pure joy.
